An "In Honour" gift is a tribute donation to recognize a special person or organization. Many people make these gifts to acknowledge the care and dedication of doctors, nurses, or other caregivers. "In Honour" gifts are also an excellent way to celebrate milestones such as a birth, birthday, anniversary, wedding, or even to show appreciation. If you would like to make an "In Honour" gift to the Cumberland Health Care Foundation, your donation can help fund medical equipment, special projects, and programs such as palliative care—ensuring high-quality healthcare for the residents of Cumberland County. Tribute gifts can also be undesignated, allowing us to use your contribution where it is needed most.

Tribute gifts are special for both the recipient and the individual making the donation. We want to help make this gift giving experience as meaningful for both parties as possible. The Cumberland Health Care Foundation will send an announcement of your gift to the person being honoured or the next of kin in the case of an "In Memory" gift. The amount of your gift is kept strictly confidential. The Cumberland Health Care Foundation will send you acknowledgement of your gift along with a charitable tax receipt for your donation.
